Mary Jackson is a painter of figurative, landscape and still life subjects in oil and watercolour. Jackson studied printmaking at Southampton and Winchester College of Art from 1978-1983. The highlights of her career were Artist in Residence for Glyndebourne, Garsington and the ENO Operas and Artist on board Thorry Gunnersen’s Yacht, Tilting at Windmills, recording Five Tours, Sailing in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. In 1995 Jackson was elected a Member of the Royal Watercolour Society and in 1987 was elected as a Member of the New English Art Club.
Administrative HistoryCommissioned by RAH and Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) for and exhibition at the RAH, 'A Year in the Life of the Royal Albert Hall' held at the RAH 23 April-7 June 2011. Also hung in the RWS Spring Exhibition at Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London.
