Performance NotesA 71 year old Ella Fitzgerald performed two nights at the Hall with the Count Basie Orchestra, having been flown from America for three special concerts. The third was held at Grosvenor House in the presence of Princes Alexandra. The three concerts were to help launch Jazz FM, the UK's forst Jazz radio station.
