Performance Notes | Operation Raleigh was one of the Scientific Exploration Society's most prestigious expeditions ever, circumnavigating the world over a period of four years and involving 4,000 young people.
The endeavour involved sailing, diving, caving, climbing, river-running, desert crossing; gathering scientific data, initiating numerous conservation projects, bringing aid to hundreds of remote communities; and generating extraordinary life-changing experiences, memories and friendships globally.
This event brought together many of the volunteers who had taken part.
