Organist Walford Taylor in The Times (25 January 2022) wrote that he recalled, '...a concert to celebrate the centenary of the Royal College of Organists held in the Royal Albert Hall when, to the amazment of the audience, Francis Jackson, dressed in City suit with umbrella, descended on a rope from the height of the auditorium ceiling and proceeded to the great organ to participate with otehr well-known organists in a hilarious programme of misinterpreted classical organ works.'
