| Performance Notes | The Daily Worker was a left-wing British daily newspaper founded in 1930 by the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB). When they held their first event at the Royal Albert Hall in 1946 their ownership had been transferred from the CPGB to an independent readers' co-operative the previous year. In 1966 the paper was renamed and reinvented as the Morning Star and remains both the largest and longest-running socialist newspaper in Britain. |
