Performance Notes | The AIMS (Ambitions, Ideas, Motivation, Success) Concert was organised by Bill Wyman, then bassist for the Rolling Stones. Wyman assembled an all-star band that included Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, drummers Phil Collins and Kenney Jones, singers and guitarists Eddy Grant, Chris Rea, Elvis Costello, and Chrissie Hynde (of the Pretenders), and singers Ian Dury and Terence Trent D'Arby. Bill Wyman also introduced five British bands who were as yet unsigned.
The event was recorded and released as a VHS recording. |
