Performance NotesNora Blackwood demonstration of clairvoyance:
"She said she was seeing the spirit of a man in naval uniform whose name was Rodley. When a woman in the audience said she recognised this man's description, the medium asked, 'Is he your brother?' Receiving an acknoledgement she continued, 'Would he be Charles please?' 'Yes' 'Are there three floors and a basement at your house?' 'yes' 'You live in the basement' 'Yes.' 'Why does he show me a black door?' 'The house has a black door.' 'Is there something strange on the door?' 'Yes' 'Is it a galleon - a ship?' 'Yes.' 'Are there caravans were you live?' 'Yes' 'Who's Nellie? 'I am.' 'The number of your door is 40' 'Yes.' 'Charles didn't pass on in uniform. He 'died' in hospital of a heart attack.' 'Yes.' 'Was it Whitechapel hospital?' 'Yes.' 'You have two children ' Yes.'

Over 30 countries were represented in a 'Pageant of Friendship.' in which one by one people dressed in national costume, filed on to the huge stage to an accompanying commentary on each country's geographical and historical features by Eric Stuart, the Spiritiualist Association's president."
