Performance NotesThe event was filmed by Liberty United.

"CANNED HEAT AS FOLKY POP.
Amid the clamour of innumerable undifferentiated pop groups, the occassional reminder of what really good popular music can sound like is more than refreshing.
So it was with Canned Heat at the Albert Hall last night when this blues-boogie group of five exceptional musicians really showed what it all adds up to - a true kind of folk music for today.
Verve, attach, faultless rhythm and always the exact pace with, above all, that essential musicness which only the really great groups possess - these ate the hallmarks of these five American musicians Bob Hite, Al Wilson, Larry Taylor, Adolfo de la Parra and Harvey Mandel.
They were preceded - for two solid hours - by Renaissance and Deep Purple."
