"In the Royal Albert Hall last night was held the grandest function witnessed there since the installation 13 years ago of the Prince of Wales as Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of English Freemasons. The Royal Grand Master, with one of his sponsors in Freemasonry, King Oscar of Sweden, on his right, his eldest son, Prince Albert Victor, near him, presided over the centenary festival of the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls, the daughters of the deceased or decayed brethren. The scene in the great hall before the arrival of the Royal President and the Chief rulers in the craft was of the most brillian character."
