Performance NotesFounded by Lady Isobel Cripps and Dr Elizabeth Frankand Moore (then Mrs Miller) the United Aid to China Fund was a national appeal to raise money to provide relief across war-torn China. The funds were distributed by a committee headed by Sir Horace Seymour, British Ambassador in China. In 1947 the Fund evolved into the Sino-British Fellowship Trust (SBFT), which exists today as a grant-giving organisation to promote study and research in China and vie-versa for students and academic staff at universities.
