Performance Notes | King George V granted use of the Royal Box to soldiers and sailors who were blinded in the First World War for all Sunday afternoon concerts in this season.
"KREISLER'S 'FAREWE'LL" REMARKABLE SCENES AT THE ALBERT HALL. For Kresiler's last performance in England this season, at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday afternoon, there were big queues at all the doors long before the time for the concert to begin. Hundreds were turned away, and not a seat in the hall was empty. Kreisler, who had a wonderful reception, was presented with a number of gifts by his admirers."
