  <dc:title>Sculpture of 'Youth at a Stream'</dc:title>
  <dc:description>White marble sculpture of a standing naked male youth standing by a stream.

Accompanying the sculpture is a text panel;
"A plaster version of this statue was made for the Great Exhibition of 1851, where it was displayed in the central transept of the Crystal Palace, built in Hyde Park. This marble version was commissioned in 1863 by the Royal Horticultural Society for display in their conservatory, which adjoined the south entrance of the Royal Albert Hall. In 1882 the Society's gardens to the south of the Hall and conservatory were repossessed by the 1851 Royal commission and ownership of the statue passed to the Commission. It was subsequently loaned to the Hall where it has remained ever since."</dc:description>
