Anton Frans Jan Kersjesprijs ( 1923 - 2004 ) was a Dutch conductor . Kersjes began as a violinist at the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra . After the Second World War, he was a violinist and conductor of the orchestra of Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam . Here he became known as an arranger-accompanist of Leo Fuld . In 1953 he joined with Kunstmaand Orchestra, which later would pass under his leadership in the Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra . In 1985 the Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra went on in the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra .
