John Tobin (1891, Liverpool, England - 1890) was a British conductor, musicologist and composer. Tobin taught at the Holt School from 1918 to 1926. In 1926-1927 he was conductor of the British National Opera Company. From 1935 to 1939 he was Director of Music at Toynbee Hall in London.
