Active as a professional wrestler since the 1950s, Robinson is considered by many to have been one of the best heavyweights in wrestling history. Robinson left the UK in the late 1960s and went on to establish himself in the USA, where in 2011 he was inducted to the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, becoming the first Briton to be honoured.
