As the first prize winner of the Royal College of Music String Quartet Competition, the Helen Just & Susan Connell Prize and the Sacconi Prize, the Son Quartet has been chosen to represent their college at the Inter-collegiate String Quartet Competition in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music. The players are all recipients of scholarships and awards and have individually won prizes in international competitions and played with various orchestras.
