Dick Hewitt was one of Norfolk's leading step dancers. Hewitt was born at Hanworth, near Cromer, into a musical family - his mother was a dancer and his father used to play the accordion, accompanying his son on several occasions. After serving in the Army,he had various jobs, including ten years as publican at The Three Horseshoes at Briston, near Holt, from 1965 to 1975.
