Hannah Silva is an award winning writer and theatre maker, described by The Times as 'one of the most ambitious and entertaining poets in the country'. She has performed her poetry internationally at events including Poetry Hearings in Berlin and ‘Krikri’ International Festival in Belgium. In the UK she has performed at the London Word Festival, Latitude, on Radio 3's The Verb and has toured nationally with Apples and Snakes. Her poetry is featured in forthcoming anthologies by Penned in the Margins, Avalanche Books and Bloodaxe. She has shown theatre work in Japan, Germany and Holland. Her solo show 'Opposition' is touring in 2012 following rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe where it was described by What's on Stage as 'radical, political, courageous'.
