People Open DS/UK/14339 Lorne Gibson Trio (fl 1960s) Lorne Gibson Trio fl 1960s British harmony group A harmony group reminiscent of the Fortunes, the Ivy League, and the Four Pennies, the Lorne Gibson Trio specialized in a kind of mid-tempo folk-influenced sound. Recording for English Decca in the mid-1960's, their singles included "Hang Up The Phone" and "I Think It's Best To Forget," neither of which made a big splash with the public.
