Etoile Internationale Agnes Oaks was born in Estonia and studied at the State Ballet School and the Bolshoi Ballet School. Agnes has won many competitions and has created a partnership of world reknown with her partner Thomas Edur. In 1990 she joined English National Ballet as principal, dancing all the company’s leading roles, and Birmingham Royal Ballet in 1996. Since 1997, Agnes has been constantly in demand as a Guest Artiste around the world, and has danced all the major roles. She has formed a world reknowned partnership with Thomas Edur. In 2009 Sadlers Wells Theatre in london hosted an evening of ballet in tribute to Thomas and Agnes.
