Violinist Freya Goldmark, a pupil of Uppingham School, studies with Maciej Rakowski and for the past 3 years has attended the Royal College of Music Junior Department. She has performed extensively in Europe and Asia as a soloist, giving performances of Vivaldi's Four Seasons in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpa, Penang and Bangkok and as a guest soloist at the Rachmaninov Institue, Russia performing Mozart's Concerto in D and giving solo recitals. In 2012 she was invited to perform at the Valdres Festival, Norway where her performance of Ravel's Tzigane was broadcast on Norwegian national radio.
