Karl Kamann, bass-baritone, died in Vienna on April 10; he was 60. He was born in Cologne, and studied singing with Max Buttner. He made his debut at Karlsruhe, and was leading baritone at Brunswick 1928-31, Chemnitz 1931-8, and a member of the Vienna Opera from 1938.
