Pedro Gomes perfoms frequently in public, deserving special attention the performances in Sala Fenix (Madrid) ; in Sala Nobre del Ayuntamiento (San Sabastian); in Teatro Victoria Eugenia (San Sebastian); in the Hall of Minho University (Braga, Portugal); in Teatro D. Maria II (broadcast live by Antena 2radio station); in Casa das Artes (V.N.Famalicão, Portugal); Casa da Música(Oporto, Portugal); Salão Árabe do Palácio da Bolsa, also in Oporto and on RTP (the portuguese tv channel).

Particularly important was his performance in Sala Suggia of Casa da Música, taking part in the Piano Cycle 2009, where some of the greatest names of the world's piano panorama appeared. He made his debut with the highly rated Gulbenkian Orchestra at age 18 with two concerts in Lisbon at the foundation's Great Hall, while playing Prokofiev's no. 1 Piano Concerto. These two concerts made him collect the best critique from the music related press: "...a promising talent to which unifies a solid technic and a strong charisma" (in Público, 23/10/2009).

In 2008, he was granted a piano scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe.

He completed his piano studies at the Oporto's Conservatory of Music with the maximum grade, after having had lessons with professor Rosgard Lingdardsson.

Pedro Gomes has studied at the Royal College of Music, London, where he now studies with the prestigious pianist and professor Dmitri Alexeev.

Pedro Gomes is also, since 2009, a scholar of the Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation.
