A graduate of the DIT Conservatory, Dublin, the RNCM, Manchester, the Guildhall Opera Course and the National Opera Studio, London, she is also a multiple prizewinner. Awards include the London Bach Singers Prize, second prize in the Kathleen Ferrier Awards, a Making Music Philip &amp; Dorothy Green Award, an MBF Sybil Tutton Award and a Maisie Lewis Award from The Worshipful Company of Musicians. Sarah was a finalist in the Handel Singing Competition, the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Competition in Paris, the Stuart Burrows Voice Competition and the Royal Overseas League. She is a Yeoman of The Worshipful Company of Musicians and studies with singing teacher Susan McCulloch. 

Sarah made her debut for Scottish Opera in the title role of Rodelinda. She appeared as a soloist for the company in their Opera Highlights tour and their productions of Anamchara and Madama Butterfly, and covered the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute. Other recent engagements include performing for world-renowned tenor Placido Domingo at the Mansion House in London, Bachs Easter &amp; Ascension Oratorios with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra in the National Concert Hall, Dublin, and Handels Messiah in Tenerife. Sarah is a keen recitalist and has appeared at prestigious recital venues including the Wigmore Hall, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and Haus der Musik, Vienna.

Sarah is currently covering the roles of Pamina in The Magic Flute and Michael in Peter Pan for Welsh National Opera. Other future engagements include Mendelssohn's Elijah with the Waltham Singers, Handels Israel in Egypt with the Burford Singers, Handel's Messiah with the Harrogate Choral Society and Schubert's Mass in G and Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art for the Leith Hill Musical Festival.
