Choral vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar form the backbone of the songs. They sound a bit like Joni Mitchell meeting Caetano Veloso in a flotation tank with a small choir frolicking on the taps; vocal collages in a cinematic landscape. A sense of restlessness and yearning permeates their work. Their style has developed from a desire to remove intellectual or preconceived decisions from composition, to rely entirely on expression and musical instinct – to get to the core of a feeling without planning how or why.
