Joe attends The Purcell School and the Royal College of Music Junior Department. At the RCM he studies general percussion with Cameron Sinclair and is principal percussionist of the Symphony Orchestra. At Purcell he learns marimba, jazz vibes, piano and composition. He is also a keen composer, and has had compositions performed by musicians from both the RCM and The Purcell School. He has played many different percussion instruments from around the world, most recently in Malta as part of the Commonwealth Resounds biannual music project in November.
