Alessandra Volpe was born in Massafra/Italy, and completed her musical studies at the Conservatory ‘Niccolò Piccini’ in Bari where she graduated in piano in 2003 and singing in 2005, both summa cum laude. She did her operatic debut in 2005 at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari participating in productions of Weill’s AUFSTIEG UND FALL DER STADT MAHAGONNY and Britten’s THE BEGGAR’S OPERA, subsequently in Ravel’s L’ENFANT ET LE SORTILEGES.
