Peall was educated at Dulwich College. After a commercial career, he entered the film industry on the exhibiting side. Ancestry records him as havin gbeen a cinema projectionist. He was one of the first members of the C.E.A. General Council. Was hon. secretary and later Chairman of the London Branch. He was an executive with Anima Lodge fraternity (f.1912 A freemasonry lodge for those in the film industry). In 1940 he retired from Gaumont British Picture Corp, the Provincial Cinematograph Theatres and associated companies.
