The Shapeshifters have been signed to Defected Records since 2008, and the duo were previously signed to Positiva. They are best known for their debut single "Lola's Theme", which went to No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2004. Formerly producing and touring as a duo with Max Reich, Simon Marlin has continued working and performing under the Shapeshifters moniker as a solo act since 2017.
