British Plumm is a multi-instrumentalist, accomplished vocalist and producer hailing from South London. Musically she constructs mood driven soundscapes using a combination of rich vocals and contemporary jazz melodies. Plumm’s inspiration from these heroes are reflected through a married theme of eclecticism in production and musical styles to create eccentric and rich sounds. Graduating from the BRIT School at 18, Plumm went on to study at the Julian Joseph Jazz academy before becoming SOAS alumni with a degree in Ethnomusicology and a specialism in North Indian Classical music. Live, Plumm's shows have created a buzz within the ever growing London jazz scene with her varying arrangements; an ever rotating eponymous band, a one woman vocal pedal show and part of larger collectives such as The Levitation Orchestra. Plumm released her debut EP ‘The Shed’ in 2018.
