After being a member of the ensemble at the Hamburg State Opera, among others, she is now a freelance guest on international stages. Her repertoire includes roles such as Cenerentola in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust (Berlioz), Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Adriano in Rienzi (Richard Wagner), Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier (Strauss), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) and Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Mozart).

 

Dorottya Láng is also an acclaimed recitalist, and has performed lieder at the Wigmore Hall, the Schubertiade, the Vienna Konzerthaus, Oxford Lieder Festival, among many other festivals. Her first solo CD with a program of Hungarian composers with pianist Daniel Heide is planned for release in 2025.</OtherInfo>
