Henderson, J. Dalgety, tenor vocalist, born at Montrose, Forfarshire, December 23, 1856. Brought up to a business career, he became a well-known paper agent in London and studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music, under Mr. Richard Latter. His fine voice soon gained him notice, and he sung with success in most parts of the United Kingdom. He appeared at the Monday Popular Concerts in January, 1883 and at the Crystal Palace in May, 1885.
