Originally trained at Camberwell and Norwich schools of art, Hannah studied painting and fine art, before taking a degree in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art.

She came to the Science Museum with experience in a variety of disciplines, having co-founded and Co-directed Studio Fish Digital Media (1993 -1998), then moved to the National Museum of Photography, Film &amp; Television (now National Media Museum).
