English Irish Musician; Guitar / Keyboard White No known disability No known religious affiliation Heterosexual Paul Arthurs, also known as Bonehead, is an Irish-English musician and one of the founding members of the English rock band Oasis, best known as their rhythm guitar and occasional keyboard player from 1991–1999. started his first band in 1984, called Pleasure and Pain. In the late 1980s, while working as a building contractor, he started a band with his friends, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, Tony McCarroll and Chris Hutton. They called themselves The Rain, after The Beatles' B-side, "Rain". Hutton was replaced by Liam Gallagher, and Gallagher and Arthurs teamed up as co-songwriters. Gallagher then encouraged his brother Noel to join the band. Liam changed the band's name to Oasis, and Noel brought with him a collection of songs that were to make the band famous.
