John Myrddin (1901, Briton Ferry, Wales - 26 August 1970, Briton Ferry, Wales) was a Welsh tenor. Myrddin sang a wide range of roles, especially for dramaric tenor, such as Hoffmann, Manrico, Canio, Samson and Tannhäuser. He studied singing in London at the Royal College of Music and Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, joining Carl Rosa as principal tenor in 1935. During the war he worked for ENSA and later rejoined Carl Rosa.
