Musician; Vocals, soprano Victoria Elliott (1923, Gateshead, England - 22 February 1986, London, England) was an English soprano. She studied with Rosetta Pampanini, and was with Carl Rosa 1945-7, starting in the chorus but very quickly graduated to singing principal roles including Marguerite, Gilda, Mimì, and Butterfly. From 1947-51 she concentrated on concert and oratorio work before joining Sadler’s Wells in 1952 to sing all the lyric repertory, including Leonora, Tatyana, Rosalinde, Maddalena di Coigny. She created the role of Emma Hamilton in Lennox Berkeley's Nelson (1954). Her Covent Garden appearances were as Lady Macbeth and Santuzza in the 1959/60 season. In the later 1960s and 70s she toured in concerts of operetta.
