Gordon Lewin studied clarinet and composition at the Royal Manchester College of Music. He worked in London theatres as an arranger and was a member of the BBC TV Orchestra. From 1964 he has freelanced on clarinet and saxophone with most of the major orchestras for recordings, radio and television, and has performed on sound-tracks of over 100 films.
