Performance Notes"There was not such a large audience as might have been expected in the Albert-hall on Tuesday afternoon, on the occassion of the concert given to add to the Queen's Fund for the Unemployed. However, the more expensive seats were fairly well filled, and doubtless a goodly sum was obtained...Miss Marie Brema and Mr Charles Warner were both apologised for on the score of colds, Mr Sydeney Valentine taking the latter's place in a recitation....A number of ladies and gentlemen, members of the theatrical profession, acted a programme-sellers and stewards."
(The Times, 21 December 1905)

The Royal party were attended by Lady Emily Kingscote, the Hon. Charlotte Knollys, the Earl HOwe, General the Right Hon. Sir Dighton Probyn, the Hon. Sidney Greville, and Lieutenant-Colonel C Frederick.
